Facebook: 'The Majority of Our Workforce Is Employed Policing Speech'

'Even though we also use AI against the people too.'

CNBC Propagandist:

It does strike me that this is an issue, disinformation, misinformation, interference with the election that the government should be taking on. How many people do you have working on this issue and how do you know what's enough?

Failed British politician Nick Clegg (how did he get the job at Facebook?):

So we have around 40,000 people working on kind of safety and integrity on our platforms. Generally, we spend a lot of money on it.

We've spent about 20 billion US dollars in recent years on things like election integrity, about 5 billion in the last year alone. But here's the interesting point. You know, even if we employ double the number of content moderators that we have, actually, here's the irony, we're talking here about the risks of AI-generated content, but AI is also actually our most powerful tool to identify and deal with the kind of content we don't want to see on our platforms.

So 40,000 of the 67,000 workers at Facebook are employed judging “disinformation, misinformation, and interference with elections”? It’s a good job they can sell their users’ data in order to generate vast profits to pay for this sick game. To be fair, if you believe, as Zuckerberg does, that your users are “dumb fucks”, and you are a techno-fascist authoritarian, then you could justify spending $20,000,000,000 and most of your workforce to control the minds of the proles.

It doesn’t sound like Zuckerberg truly regrets his interference in the last US election, does it?
